Ed Norton and Daria Werbowy to be the faces of the LG Prada 3.0
LG and Prada have decided upon American actor Ed Norton and Ukrainian/Canadian model Daria Werbowy to be the faces of the newest LG Prada touchscreen phone. The LG Prada 3.0 is powered by Android and as such, is the first version of the Prada line to be a smartphone. Norton, who has been nominated for an Academy Award, teams with Werbowy who is one of the top grossing models in recent years. Dr. Jong seok Park, President and CEO of LG Mobile Communications Company said, "LG is delighted to have these talented and successful individuals on board to help launch this smartphone. They embody the very essence of the PRADA phone by LG 3.0, combining style with substance, as well as bringing to life this outstanding smartphone." Mr. Norton added, "It was a pleasure collaborating with PRADA and LG, both Global brands with impeccable reputations for being the most innovative and respected in their fields."

The LG Prada 3.0 features a 4.3 inch WVGA 800 nit NOVA display with a pixel density of 217ppi. Under the hood is a dual-core TI OMAP 4430 1GHz processor. 1GB of RAM is on board with 8GB of native storage that can be expanded to as much as 40GB with a microSD card. The 8MP camera on the back takes 1080p video at 30 fps while the 1.3MP front-facing camera is great for self portraits and video chat. The phone is just .33 inch thick and continues the stylish look from the previous two LG Prada models. The LG Prada 3.0 also features a unique black and white UI.

The LG Prada 3.0, aka as the PRADA phone by LG 3.0, is already available in the U.K. for 430 GBP ($670 USD), and has launched in South Korea. Despite the use of an American actor like Norton, there is no word on any plans by LG to offer the device in the States.
