Deal: Unlocked Sony Xperia X Compact is on sale at Best Buy for $280 (30% off)

The conditions of the deal/s may have changed since the initial publishing of this post.

The Xperia X Compact is one of the many Sony smartphones that will be updated to Android 8.0 Oreo. We're not sure how much popular the handset is among Android fans, but the Xperia X Compact seems a bit overpriced at nearly $400.

Having a 4.6-inch display with HD (720p) resolution doesn't help either. On the bright side, the phone boasts an impressive 23-megapixel rear-facing camera and a decent hexa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 processor.

If you've been looking for a mid-end Xperia smartphone, one that would not force you to break the bank, then you might want to check Best Buy's new deal on the Xperia X Compact. It looks like the US retailer is selling the smartphone for as cheap as $280, so you'll be saving around $120 if you decide to go for it.

The phone comes unlocked, but it will only work on GSM carriers like AT&T and T-Mobile. Also, the white variant has the biggest discount ($120), while the other two color options – black and blue – are on sale as well for $320 and $350, respectively.
