Chances are that if you are serious about mobile gaming, you've probably come across Dead Trigger. It is a masterpiece of a game created by Madfinger Games, who are also known as the folks who gave us Samurai II Vengeance and the Shadowgun series. With millions of downloads across Android and iOS, the game ranks among the best of 2012, blending addictive, zombie-shooting gameplay with eye-pleasing 3D graphics and easy to use controls.

Given the game's success, it now comes as no surprise that a sequel to Dead Trigger is in the making. Dead Trigger 2, as it will be known, is expected to arrive in Q2 of 2013, according to a recent announcement made by Madfinger Games on Twitter. Unfortunately, all that the devs give us in their tweet is that teaser picture you see above, with further details surrounding the upcoming title remaining a mystery for now. However, something we already know is that Dead Trigger 2 will come in THD flavor as well, optimized for the newly-announced Tegra 4 chip by NVIDIA. In fact, it will be one of the first games to take advantage of the quad-core SoC's processing prowess. Here's a screenshot to give you an idea as to how Dead Trigger 2 will look like.
