Canadian HTC One owners receive a firmware update
If you are an HTC One owner in Canada, chances are that you have received, or about to receive, a firmware update for your new phone. Bell, Virgin Canada, Rogers and TELUS subscribers with HTC's new Android flagship model will be happy to hear that the update repairs a problem with the sensitivity of the capacitive buttons and apparently makes the handset more responsive.

The update is coming to the HTC One OTA although you can try to pull it out of the phone manually. Go to Settings > About > Software updates. The latest firmware version is1.29.666.17 and you should notice a difference in the device once you install the update. If you have received the firmware update, let us know what changes you've experienced on your HTC One by leaving a comment in the box below.

As we told you on Thursday, HTC has sold 5 million units of the HTC One, half the 10 million units of the Samsung Galaxy S4 sold by Samsung.
