Blue Mate 20 Pro caught live on the subway, a fingerprint magnet
The upcoming Huawei Mate 20 Pro has been a victim of a spy shot on some subway car, in its beautiful blue model version at that. The back of the phone clearly shows the unorthodox tri-camera setup placed in a square surface which, thankfully, doesn't seem to raise a camera bump... or three.

The front is also visible, with a display that is curved to the sides, just as the rumors about the 6.4" OLED QuadHD+ display had it. Add to those Android's first 7nm chipset, a huge 4200 mAh battery with the crazy fast wired charger that pumps the phone full of electrons at the rate of 70% for 30 minutes, as well as the nutty 15W wireless charging, and the leaks are shaping one pretty uncompromising handset for the end of year by Huawei.

The only ho-hum part about this appearance of the Mate 20 Pro in the flesh is that the shiny glass surface seems to be a fingerprint magnet with all these greasy smudges all over it. Hopefully, that's a pre-production sample with no oleophobic coating applied yet, or a case would be mandatory on this bad boy.

Oh no! Fingerprints on a stylish phone that probably 0.0001% of people will use WITHOUT a case. All this stylish garbage is just window dressing. For what people have to pay for these things, you'd be foolish not to wrap them in a protective case.

Exaggerate much? According to you, only 1 in a million don't use a case. From what I see around, it's at least 20-25%. Considering the fact that hundreds of millions of phones are bought every year, that's a lot of naked phones.

One material can survive drops, not be finger print magnet and doesn't feel cheap is polycarbonate, all other materials fail miserbaly, but for last few years no oem is using it, there is no excuse as it is not expensive as well, I want to use my phone without a case but due to fragile material unable to imagine a phone without a case

Remember the Nokia N9? That was a beautiful, resilient phone. RIP Nokia and their polycarbonate phones.

Xiaomi is using polycarbonate on the Pocophone, but a lot of reviewers did comment on it feeling cheap. I don't mind it myself when done properly like on the Lumia's.
