Australians first to receive their new Apple Watch
In Australia it is now Friday, April 24th which means that the Apple Watch is now arriving to consumers who ordered the timepiece. Some who are receiving their watch are posting about it on Instagram, Twitter, Facebook and other social media sites. In addition, developers who signed up for a chance to be included in a special allotment of the 42mm Apple Watch, are now receiving their letters from Apple stating whether they will be allowed to make an expedited purchase of the timepiece.

Those developers selected by Apple to purchase the 42mm Apple Watch will have until 5pm on April 27th to pay for it. Apple has promised the lucky developers chosen that their Apple Watch will be in transit by April 28th.

The Apple Watch starts as low as $349 for the Apple Watch Sport, which is the entry-level model. The most expensive Apple Watch is the $17,000 Apple Watch Edition in rose gold. A special version of that timepiece, with an expensive gold band, has been handed out to celebrities like Beyonce and Drake.

Come on dude, not everything that the fruity company does has to be good. This is a flawed product, there is no way of denying it. And Apple may have gotten away with other flawed first generation products, because of lack of serious competition, but this time competition of the Apple Watch is far ahead.

LOl! Apple watch has no competition the competition was never popular, they all failed so far in sales, there still stuck with notifications. Apple watch is a app centric device hence far ahead of others. it'll become the remote of the future, open garage doors, hotel keys , Apple pay , wireless music streamer , door bell intercom , and 1000s of other apps Before the watch is even released 3000 apps have been released on the Apple watch store. this is what will make the Apple watch a huge success.http://www.cnet.com/news/apple-watch-store-launches-with-3000-apps/ lets face it Galaxy gears are a success only in the eyes of samsung fanboys , and similarly android wear is for google fanboys. AKA Feanor n S-fans , real world they can't do squat. unless they change immensely.

All sounds very good, though with your Android Wear watch you can already start your Audi or Hyundai. ;-) You're delusioning thinking that Android Wear has no support. Last time I was in the airport I was wondering which my gate was, but hey, it was there on my watch. All courtesy of Google Now. I'd like to see if Apple Watch can pull up such trick. But if course you have digital crown to scroll up and down. Congratulations for needing again your other hand for doing it. With Android Wear you'll soon be able to just flick your wrist to scroll up and down. ;-)

not android wear but I meant galaxy gear. Android wear has support but like you said lacks digital crown , which is wonderful to have just like multi-touch.

LG G Watch Urbane is so much nicer than this garbage. It's a shame that sales doesn't reflect this.

17000$? Apple is the enemy of goodness. How about good managing this 17000$, amount of just a damn watch and feed orphans, homeless people, widespread of famine in some area. Aren't this a better thing to do instead of being cheated by an evil company?

1. If your so concerned about orphans, you feed em. 2. Isn't this a better thing to do, not aren't.

1. "You're" not "your"

"You're, not "your". :D

16. willard12 unregistered

It wasn't a sentence. If it were, it would be a singular clause. The word "not" doesn't start a seperate clause. So, like you do constantly, you've over-used the comma while trying to correct the grammar of others.

So you're not concerned about them? Such a heartless guy I've ever met in my life. Oh, now I realize that Apple fans fit their brand perfectly, no wonder why they treat their employees like slave labor in the factory. What a shame! English isn't my national language, I didn't expect to speak it every well like you. But pointing out my grammatical error in an argument, and take it as a real issue, seriously? LoL

We've never met. I don't care how Apple treats its employees, I only care how my employer treats me. Don't make profound fanboy statements with grammatical errors, or else. Lol

You do realize you're gunna have to buy another watch next year though, don't you? This is Apple's first watch, and from reports, it's not very good either. (According to the websites that do not care for Apple's blessing to attend future conferences VS those who do) And, although my own opinion, but backed by millions of others, it's extremely ugly. I've gone through two Android Wears, the first G Watch, and now the G Watch R, which is way nicer with the round face. Do you not sit there for a second and think, "Hold on, Apple might be screwing me and the rest of us over a little bit here.."? It just puzzles me that so many have bought one, yet have no real idea of what they have bought. Also, I understand it's your money and whatever, but to get what you really want as loyal customers, you gotta kind of hold the brakes for a bit and tell Apple what you want, not the other way round, right? HTC followers did it, Samsung followers did it, looks like LG followers have done it, but Apple have yet to go pro-customers, but more pro-profit and sold lower spec devices, which are cheaper to make, but sell them for a high profit. What do you think buddy?
