Asus Transformer Pad Infinity pops up at Best Buy - $600 gets you Full HD screen and 64GB storage

Asus Transformer Pad Infinity pops up at Best Buy - $600 gets you Full HD screen and 64GB storage
Just as promised, end of June will likely be seeing the launch of the Asus Transformer Pad Infinity TF700 in the US, as there is a Best Buy page live for it now. The electronics retailer indicates a $599.99 price, but no availability or shipping date yet.

The unit on offer is the Wi-Fi-only version, but with the higher 64GB amount of internal storage. Just a reminder, the tab's big selling point is the presence of a 1920x1200 Full HD display, which on top of that has the very high 600 nits of brightness and very wide viewing angles, since it is an IPS-LCD screen, protected by Gorilla Glass 2.

Under the hood we have a quad-core Tegra 3 clocked at 1.6GHz, 1GB of RAM, and it is all wrapped up in a 0.3" thin 10.1" tablet with the renowned build quality of an Android tablet made by Asus. Keyboard dock is, of course, sold separately. Any takers?

I want it so badly, but $600 is a little steep. Can't they come out with a 16 gig option and a micro sd slot?

As much as this is fantastic (assuming the WiFi and GPS work accordingly) are you going to wait and see about the Nexus Tablet or immediately go for this?

$600 price point, don't think so. Good luck trying to sell 2M of these.

This is a fantastic price considering the amount of storage you get with the Tablet
