Apple's iOS 11 beta 9 now available for registered developers and public beta testers
Registered developers can head over to Apple's developer portal (developer.apple.com) and update their iPhone or iPad to the new build via an OTA update, or the update can be installed using IPSW. If you're not a developer and would like to install iOS 11 beta 9, you can sign up to join the Public Beta Testing Program by opening Safari and heading to beta.apple.com. You will need your Apple ID and password to sign in for the Apple Beta Software Program. Once you've signed up for the Public Beta Testing Program, go to Settings > General > Software update > Download and install. Agree to the terms and conditions. Once the update has been downloaded, tap on install now to finish the installation. When that is done, set the device as new or restore it from a previous iTunes backup.
The only changes listed for iOS 11 beta 9 are bug fixes and performance enhancements. With Apple sending out invitations today confirming a September 12th unveiling of the 2017 iPhone models, we should see iOS 11 start rolling out inside of two weeks.
