If you own an Apple iPhone X, you might not be taking advantage of some of the features available for the handset's cameras. In a series of videos released today by Apple, you'll see how to use the tenth anniversary iPhone to snap great pictures of your kids playing in a soccer league (assuming you have kids in such a league; taking pictures of another parent's children could be seen as creepy). The same tips could come in handy if you're in Russia for the 2018 World Cup, which starts today.

Other videos show you how to employ Pano mode (for panoramic shots), give you directions for shooting video in Slo-mo, how to get that perfect moment frozen in time using Burst mode and how to shoot using backlight for dramatic images.

Check out all five videos. One you'll find at the top of this article, and the four remaining clips are directly below. You'll notice that Apple is using a soccer theme, no doubt because of the World Cup fever that now covers the world. Even in the U.S., where the national team didn't qualify for the tournament this year, excitement is high as North America has been selected to host the World Cup in 2026.
