Apple prepares for Wednesday's event by putting up its logo all over Bill Graham Auditorium
Apple has been busy, putting its logo up and making preparations to the Bill Graham Auditorium in San Francisco. That is where the company will be holding its media event on Wednesday. We expect to see Apple introducing the Apple iPhone 6s and Apple iPhone 6s Plus. We also might see the Apple iPad mini 4 and the Apple iPad Pro both become official next week.

One thing that we might see, is a performance from Taylor Swift. Reports indicate that that the auditorium and the area inside and outside the building is teeming with security. While Apple usually employs a large number of security personnel, the amount seen in the area surpasses even the number of guards that Apple would normally hire. That would seem to dovetail with a comment made by Fortune's Philip Elmer-DeWitt that Taylor Swift would sing for the media attending the event.

As you recall, Swift earlier this year wouldn't let Apple stream tunes from her hit album 1989 unless Apple changed its policy on not paying royalties on tunes streamed during users' three month free trials to Apple Music. Apple gave in, Swift recanted, and all was right with the world.

Even if Swift does make an appearance, the stars of the event will be the new iPhone models, stuffed with Force Touch (or perhaps 3D Touch), improved cameras on back and front, an increase in RAM, a new color option and more.

well apple marketing is rolling, people buys everything with apple logo, they will sit 15-20h next to shop to get new iphone which probably will be same as previous with 720p screen and same old half day battery.

i tried iphone 5s, perfect shape and size, but battery life half day, no gaming and stuff, just regular emails and texts. now since we have QHD amoled, 720p look like robbery for that money.

You're not, you're Einstein. That would be grammatically correct. :)

You're not your Einstein, would imply that I own an Einstein, and I'm not the Einstein I own. That makes no sense.

Bring on Taylor Swift!!! Man can't wait for the new iPhones, finally its that time of the year. Lolipop's issues and the 810 ruined Android this year, been one of the worse years ever with the Nexus 6 being ridiculously expensive and huge with a mediocre camera, the samsung fans trying to defend the reduction of features, HTC making even uglier phones, Sony screwing up their naming convention and the Chinese OEM's just cloning the iPhone every week... its time for a breath of fresh air and some Apple juice! But at least LG did good this year.

Nexus 6 cost less than the iPhone, and its camera proved to be better than the iPhone. Also, it was about this time last year that the Fappening happened, and it hasn't even been a week since news broke about another 220,000 accounts having been hacked. http://money.cnn.com/2015/09/01/technology/apple-iphone-account-hack/ And despite all the issues with Lollipop, it still performed better than iOS8 even after all of Apple's updates. You can call Android Lollipop a mess, but you cannot say that iOS8 did better. If you're excited about what Apple has in store this week then that's fine and all, but you're fooling yourself to think that they had less issues than Android between now and last September.

You are complaining about Samsung reducing features but are now excited about the king of no features? Okay there. At least be consistent. Also this is the S year which means it's going to be a straight out rehash with Apple going on vacation all year because they can re use their design, which means half their work is done. At least 50% is déjàvu. Hardly a breath of fresh air. Lol

The only way this is sad is it's Labor day weekend, and Apple is so cheap and profit hungry they probably dragged 100 Chinese laborers out of Foxconn , paying them 75 cents an hour to decorate the hall on labor day for them. They are truly an inconsiderate and distasteful company........yet I still buy their s**t :\
