Apple iPhone 6s features confirmed by China Telecom official

Apple iPhone 6s features confirmed by China Telecom official
According to a China Telecom official, the Apple iPhone 6s and Apple iPhone 6s Plus will both arrive in China between September 18th and September 25th. While that is far from being a specific date, this would seem to be a range that would fit with the rumored September 9th unveiling of the new models.

If you were wondering about Force Touch, the official says that both new iPhone units will have the feature. The big question from a marketing (and a historical) standpoint is, which phone will be the first launched with Force Touch. Besides the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus, there is the ZTE Axon Mini and the Huawei Mate S. All of these models will reportedly have a display that can distinguish between a regular tap on the screen, and a stronger input.

The China Telecom official says that he has yet to hear anything about a Rose Gold/pink version of the new iPhone 6s handsets. A few days ago, we showed you an image allegedly revealing such a model. He also confirmed that Apple is doubling the amount of RAM on the phones to 2GB, and is putting an improved camera on the devices. We expect to see Apple bump the MP count on the new phones to 12MP from the current 8MP. And while this is certainly no shocker, the China Telecom official adds that both units will be powered by the Apple A9 chipset.

There still is plenty of information that hasn't been leaked or confirmed, and we still don't know if the 4-inch Apple iPhone 6c or the 12.9-inch Apple iPad Pro will be unwrapped next month. As we get closer to the unveiling, the leaks will rise exponentially. Feel free to keep checking in for the latest news and rumors relating to the next-generation iPhones.

I'm hovering between the 6S and 6S Plus (or neither). To me it all depends on if they bring additional iPad functionality to the Plus, like splitscreen. The processor will be at least as powerful as the Air 2, one would think this shouldn't be a problem. I'm a big fan of Force Touch after what they did to the MacBook trackpad, I hope they don't disappoint here; the iPhone has needed haptic feedback for a good eight years now. Using a 6 now. It's a good all-rounder, love the build and app selection, camera ain't to shabby either. Not a big fan of the UI though.

I became a iPhone guy. After now a year with my 6 Plus, it's time to swap it out for the new model. I'm passing on the N5 since I can't stand carrier delays with updates.

I think it will be really interesting to see how iOS uses the convergence features (not unlike Windows 10) to bring a more seamless flow between your Mac and phone. I'm actually looking forward to getting the 6S Plus. I think they have finally brought enough of the features I was looking for to their hardware that I am ready to take the plunge. It was a close toss up between the 6S Plus and the Note 5, but we shall see if the 6S Plus can satisfy my needs.

You make it sound like force touch is this new great thing since sliced bread. Its just an add on to a users input. Developers have to write apps to take advantage of it. So its going to take some time before it really catches on, or you will see enough apps to take advantage of the force touch feature.

It is a great new thing, and I didn't exactly see you refute that so I'm a little confused as to why you started your comment the way you did. It's newness isn't the reason I'm big on it, because like I said, haptic feedback has been missing from the iPhone for almost a decade and has always been a major reason I haven't bought one, nor how many applications it will be used with; on the MacBook it still serves pretty much solely as replacement for the traditional trackpad click. The reason I'm big on it is due to how absolutely flawlessly they made it FEEL like an actual click on the MacBook. If Apple merely introduces it to the iPhone keyboard and it works half as well as it does on the MacBook trackpad, it will still be better than any haptic feedback on the smartphone market today.

That's ironic, coming from the biggest troll on phonearena. Pot, the kettle is calling you in for overtime with this one!

That's moronic coming from the guy who continously cry and pout on phonearena. Looks like you're the one who is on the pot calling that kettle.

Says the moron that's crying and pouting right now. That would be YOU. As I said: Pot! The Kettle is calling you in for overtime on this one!

I acknowledged that I made a typo in a comment that I was making to someone else. In my defense I was drinking at the time but of course you being the megalomaniac that you are won't see it. Checkmate.

BS. You were trying to troll me along with someone else and it backfired. You need to acknowledge that, but your megalomania and flat out lying nature won't allow you to do it. Sorry, Mxy. Can't blame this one on the alcohol. Class dismissed.

90. Mxyzptlk unregistered

So you're saying all of those times you agreed with users or laughing at their comments when they were insulting me was trolling as too? I wonder what cop out bs excuse you will use this time. Checkmate.

I'm saying you tried to troll me and failed miserably at it. I can post another link where you tried to troll me AND lied about what I posted, only to have that backfire as well. Shall I? Or are you done? Ah, you're done. There is absolutely nothing you can say to negate the fact that I owned you in this thread. You'll try, of course, but you're just going to look even more pathetic in doing so. Now THAT'S a checkmate.

95. Mxyzptlk unregistered

And I asked a question that you totally just tried to dodge out of answering. Don't get cold feet now after getting called out. Remember this is on you since you're the one who made the comment. If you're referring to that comment about Chen and the app development legislation then lol you're just desperate. While you did indeed questioned Chen and surprisingly was against it, you still defend blackberry even when everyone else is saying otherwise. Checkmate.

So you're saying I need to side with everyone else concerning a topic? No thank you. I'll leave the "monkey see, monkey do" attitude to you. Furthermore, I'll answer your question when you admit to being the biggest troll on phonearena, and not before then. Btw, you're really making yourself look pathetic here. You got owned on this thread. Just give it up. The more you comment, the more pathetic you look. Just remember, that's on YOU. Now THAT'S another checkmate.

101. Mxyzptlk unregistered

That's not even remotely close to what I said. Are you sure your reading comprehension is up to par? I'm still waiting on you to answer the question or are you done being a bitter salty hypocrite? Yeah ok. It's not like you aren't dodging the question after setting yourself up. Checkmate.

You're STILL going on with this? Dude, it's over for you in this thread. You're done. Kaput. Finished. I owned you, end of story. Just let it go. Talk about hard headed and stubborn....

113. Mxyzptlk unregistered

Game over kleptomaniac kid. You're deflecting again considering how you refuse to answer the question. I'll just remember to quote this article next time you contradict yourself and at the rate you're going it won't be too far off.
