Apple iPhone 6s features confirmed by China Telecom official
According to a China Telecom official, the Apple iPhone 6s and Apple iPhone 6s Plus will both arrive in China between September 18th and September 25th. While that is far from being a specific date, this would seem to be a range that would fit with the rumored September 9th unveiling of the new models.

If you were wondering about Force Touch, the official says that both new iPhone units will have the feature. The big question from a marketing (and a historical) standpoint is, which phone will be the first launched with Force Touch. Besides the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus, there is the ZTE Axon Mini and the Huawei Mate S. All of these models will reportedly have a display that can distinguish between a regular tap on the screen, and a stronger input.

The China Telecom official says that he has yet to hear anything about a Rose Gold/pink version of the new iPhone 6s handsets. A few days ago, we showed you an image allegedly revealing such a model. He also confirmed that Apple is doubling the amount of RAM on the phones to 2GB, and is putting an improved camera on the devices. We expect to see Apple bump the MP count on the new phones to 12MP from the current 8MP. And while this is certainly no shocker, the China Telecom official adds that both units will be powered by the Apple A9 chipset.

There still is plenty of information that hasn't been leaked or confirmed, and we still don't know if the 4-inch Apple iPhone 6c or the 12.9-inch Apple iPad Pro will be unwrapped next month. As we get closer to the unveiling, the leaks will rise exponentially. Feel free to keep checking in for the latest news and rumors relating to the next-generation iPhones.
