Getting new updates never gets old; especially when you’re a high powered Android smartphone that’s worthy of a monumental update.
That’s exactly what US Cellular customers sporting the HTC Desire are treated to starting today as the long awaited Android 2.2 Froyo update is now available for download. No longer must they be taunted by other people, that’s because handset owners can now experience all the wonders that accompany the new version of the platform. From watching Flash content load in all of its glory to tethering support, there’s going to be plenty of high fives as Froyo breathes in new life to these loyal owners.
So if you haven’t done so already, be sure to backup your stuff prior to installing the update. But once you’ve got that taken care of, you can shout in joy about seeing your handset living it up with Froyo.
