AT&T introduces its new customer rewards program, perks include free movie ticket each Tuesday
AT&T announced today a new rewards program for its customers. Called AT&T THANKS, the program will present AT&T's postpaid subscribers with perks. The first one is a free movie ticket every Tuesday during the summer. This way, you can enjoy the company of a friend, family member or loved one while you view this summer's hottest blockbuster films (in 2D only). With the nation's top two theater chains participating (AMC and Regal), you are sure to find a theater near you that is part of AT&T THANKS.

To receive your free movie ticket, simply go to att.com/tickettwosdays. At that site you will verify your mobile number and be sent to movietickets.com. There, you will receive a coupon code good for a free ducat. Only a limited number of tickets are available each week, so don't miss out. You can get your free ticket for next Tuesday, starting today.

In addition, AT&T THANKS has connections with concert promoter Live Nation; this will give AT&T Postpaid customers pre-sale access to some of this year's hottest concerts. And postpaid customers of the nation's second largest carrier will also receive "device and accessory perks" from AT&T.

LOL right, but T-Mo was doing it before it was cool.. And no mention of anything past the summer. At least T-Mo is doing theirs continuously and they also have a few more perks than AT&T.

Hahaha this is becoming a joke. I love that I'm with T-Mobile, they are responsible for shaking up the wireless industry. But really, ATT? 'ATT THANKS'? What a copy and they're only doing it because they're feeling pressure. It's not a genuine gesture on their part whatsoever.

http://newsroom.sprint.com/article_print.cfm?article_id=1047 Think again. They are doing pointless stuff really, but Sprint is saying it is their way of "thanking" customers.

LOL- I just read their pdf. That was funny. Free anniversary gift in the form of a ringtone or minutes?? Courtesy plan check? A once-a-year accessory discount? First to know/First to buy? LMAO! The only legit thing I saw was the random "just because" special offers. Even the early upgrade is shamed by T-Mo's "Jump" program. They all have a LONG way to go to match T-Mo.

I rather get no rewards, and have a reliable, dependable network. That is what I pay for. I can pay for my own entertainment and food. No excuses!!

I agree, but I'll settle for BOTH :) Seriously, unless you live in some remote location or drive OTR it really doesn't matter which of the big three you use as far as "reliability/dependability" they ALL have their dead spots. I'm not a truck driver, but I travel in my occupation and have been with all 3 of the big 3. The truth is you start splitting hairs when comparing these things. And T-Mo will be a major player in the low frequency spectrum at the upcoming auctions. This will change everything.

This a big ATT lie. I just got my code and the website discounted only $7.99. WTF???? It didn't discount the full ticket price of $9.49. On top of it the website charges convenience fee of $1.50. This is crap ATT, WTF???? Free ticket my ass ...

I guess It's buy one get one. Was it discounted to 7.99 or was it discounted by 7.99 to 1.50?

As i've said: $9.49 - $7.99 + $1.50 = $3. So the free ticket costs $3. Hope that this clears the final price.

If you're on any carrier whatsoever in the US you can thank T-mobile for every price reduction, no contract, extra data, free roaming, and reward that you are getting. If it wasn't for them shaking up the industry we would still be treated like dirt.

Forget the movie tickets. Bring back unlimited data without having to get directtv too.
