128GB Google Pixel XL shipments delayed until December 26th by Verizon
More than two weeks ago, we passed along a screenshot of a text message received by a Verizon customer who had ordered the 128GB Google Pixel XL. This is the top-of-the line model and has been in heavy demand forcing Verizon to push back shipping dates. Our source decided to see what was going on with his order, which was supposed to ship on November 26th after the original delay of more than two weeks.

After putting in a call to Big Red on November 26th, he was told that the phone would not ship until December 26th. He also received a text message with the same bad news. According to a phone conversation that our reader had with a Verizon customer service rep, the November 26th arrival date that was sent to him earlier this month was a mistake; the December 26th date was the actual ship date.

Our source ended up cancelling his order. He was looking to replace a Samsung Galaxy Note 7 and didn't want to carry it around any longer than he had to. So he went with the Motorola Moto Z Force Droid instead.

The Pixel line is shaping up to be a winner. Yesterday, we told you how brokerage house Morgan Stanley expects Google to sell $3.8 billion worth of the smartphones next year. As great as that is for Google, if enough units aren't built, the customers end up having to wait.

Worth the wait, unless if you are in dire need of a device. Moto Z Force isn't bad either, bit the pixel definitely is better; for me anyways.

Worth the wait? oh god, what a comedians. 770$ vs 550 for the S7 Ege, and it worth it? Terrible design lower quality display huge bezels worst signal worst battery lens issue (hardware defects) no sd

According to their website on BF, the Pixel XL 128GB was delayed until January of next year if you ordered that day.

Lol....... Got rid of the Note 7 for the 6p....... 449.00 for 64gig. Money better spent waiting for a Note 8. Pixels are over priced for what you get. For me stock Android is not worth that price. Keyword for Me...... OK. Smaller screen no dual speakers great camera OK screen awesome software....... I'll pass. This is not a Note 7 replacement in my opinion. Still have Nexus 6 o.g, and Nexus 5 o.g.

Really thinking about cancelling my Order in which I made October 18th and going with the LG V-20. This is becoming an Headache! Still loving My Note 7 though tired of the text and emails from Samsung and Verizon telling me to shut down my device. Also the pushed update in which I keep rejecting to make my battery go to 60% fully charged.

So many sales left on the table because they couldn't get their supply right. In my opinion, most people will not wait 2 months, especially with other great devices on the market right now.

Seeing how Best Buy had an excellent deal on the 5" Pixel I would have cancelled my order and went with that instead. $239 without trades or any funny business. 0.5" is not worth $530.

Glad I ordered mine through the play store. Got it nearly a week early. It's only the 128GB models that are in low supply.

Google and Verizon should be embarrassed. Google is supposed to be the king of data analytics and couldn't predict how many phones to pre-build. Verizon customer service sucks. No notice, promised ship dates come and go and no information. Verizon is also unethical, charged me for my Pixel XL, but 2 months later, no product. Was going to "upgrade", but Google phone is bust in my mind. Already moved 4of my 5 lines off of Verizon due to poor customer service, #5 isn't far behind.

I originally ordered my Pixel XL 128GB on 11/24/2016 and was given a 1/6/2017 ship date. Late on 1/6/2017 I got an email from Verizon saying it wasn't shipping until 3/3/2017!! I canceled my order today. I'll wait until March to see if the Pixel is in stock then. Or, maybe, I just wait until the next Note comes out.
