125 AT&T stores to offer a preview of the Samsung Gear S on September 26th

On Tuesday, we told you that the Samsung Gear S is coming to all four major U.S. carriers this fall. But if you want to get an up close and personal look at the independent smartwatch, you might want to take a drive to AT&T this Friday. 125 AT&T locations will have the Tizen powered timepiece available for your perusal. So far, Verizon, Sprint and T-Mobile have not revealed similar plans.

The Samsung Gear S features a 2 inch curved screen and offers a SIM card slot and 3G connectivity. Unlike most smartwtches that need to pair with a smartphone, the Gear S will allow you to be connected even if you're 10 million miles away from the closest handset. That will allow you to make/take phone calls right on your wrist.
