125 AT&T stores to offer a preview of the Samsung Gear S on September 26th
On Tuesday, we told you that the Samsung Gear S is coming to all four major U.S. carriers this fall. But if you want to get an up close and personal look at the independent smartwatch, you might want to take a drive to AT&T this Friday. 125 AT&T locations will have the Tizen powered timepiece available for your perusal. So far, Verizon, Sprint and T-Mobile have not revealed similar plans.

The Samsung Gear S features a 2 inch curved screen and offers a SIM card slot and 3G connectivity. Unlike most smartwtches that need to pair with a smartphone, the Gear S will allow you to be connected even if you're 10 million miles away from the closest handset. That will allow you to make/take phone calls right on your wrist.

You can see which AT&T stores will have the Samsung Gear S for you to look at this Friday, by clicking on the sourcelink.

Because using 3G the battery lasts for an hour or two and with 4G the batter would last for 20-30 minutes.

To buy any smartwatches with 25% OFF, just add 2 cheap accessories like $5 cases and select in-store pickup. Return the cases in store when pickup the watch.

I am pretty sure it wouldn't work 10 million miles away from a phone and that you would more than likely be dead, since you would be floating in space.

I think they were referring to Mars. You know from the news that there is a colony of people living there, right? I hear they get free cable and free cellular via Marscomm. The cell coverage is so good that everyone gets 5 "Mars bars" all the time :)
