Excellent 9.7

samsung i780

This would be I think one of the most complete phones out there, in terms of connectivity , speed and looks vs. price . It is sad that Samsung is not making it anymore and it is sad that he is not with a linux based distro. But u cant get it all in this price.

• 3 G + VIDEO CALL ( DUAL CAMERA)
• HSDPA
• BLUETOOTH 2.1
• VIDEO STREAMING
• HIGH QUALITY AUDIO OUTPUT + HIGH QUALITY AUDIO RECORDING
• PUSH EMAIL + OFFICE MOBILE SUITE
• 2 BATTERIES IN STANDARD PACKAGE
• MICRO SD SLOT
• +++ RELIABLE PHONE , WIFI AND GPS SYSTEMS, OWEND SINCE 2 YEARS AND 4 MONTHS WITH NO, CASE BUT I SUGEST ONE. NO PROBLEMS UNTIL NOW+++
• - REZISTENT IN BATHROOM WHEN MAKING SHOWER ( DON'T PUT IT UNDER WATER PLS).

Cons

• -WINDOWS MOBILE
• -NO FOCUS ON CAMERA, LOW QUALITY IMAGES
• -UNDERCLOCKED CPU FOR CONSUMING LESS BATERY (BUT CAN BE RESTORED )
• -PROPRIETARY SAMSUNG CONNECTORS (NO MINI USB)
• -NO 3.5 AUDIO JACK
• -FOR SOME ...THE SCREEN WOULD BE TOO SMALL (320X320 in 2.4 , FOR ME IT IS ENOUGH THOUGH) + NO CAPACITIVE :)
• -NO GEOTAGGING FROM FACTORY ( CAN BE DONE WITH SOFTWARE AND TWEAKS)
• -MUST TWEAK SOME SOFTWARE TO WORK WITH ( FOR ME IT WAS A PLEASURE, FOR OTHERS I DON'T KNOW)
• -NO DUAL SIM

Very good phone, all the features are there which should be there in a pda......it also has a mouse cursor which makes it easy to use

Pros

• Windows 6.1
• nice camera
• mouse cursor
• easy to use
• qwerty keyboard
• enhanced gps

Cons

• its volume is a little low and when someone calls u it takes time for the ringtone to pick up to full volume thereby delaying answering time
