iOS 10 is now installed on 60% of active Apple mobile devices
In the time since iOS 10's release (October 11), the latest iteration of Apple's mobile operating system is installed on no less than 60% of all active iOS device globally. Alas, the update seems to be reaching devices slower than iOS 9 did last year – it took version 9 as little as three days to reach 50% of active devices.

As iOS 10 spreads to more devices, the presence of iOS 9 has dropped down to 32% since iOS 10 launched on October 11, while earlier versions remain installed on 8% of active devices.

Apple announced this information today, at the unveiling of its new MacBook Pro line-up. The latest version of iOS is 10.1, released this Monday. It added the Portrait Mode to the iPhone 7 Plus' camera, along with a substantial number of improvements and fixes to the core functionality, Maps, and Messages.
