Windows Phone users in Thailand start to receive Lumia Cyan update
Lumia Cyan will bring an updated Creative Studio app, support for the low powered Bluetooth 4.0 LE, and slider controls that will help Windows Phone users customize the brightness on their phone's screen. Those are just some of the features that the update will bring to Lumia handsets.
Windows Phone 8.1 is being pushed out to all Windows Phone 8 models, and the Lumia Cyan update should be sent out globally during the summer.

Lets see if you can ignore them... Don't give them what they want.. They're pathetic, and they feed off of you everytime you argue with them.... No fuel, no fire... I haven't responded to the small set of looser Android fans in months... If I can ignore those idiots then you most definitely can to...

Your troll level has gotten better even though you've been relatively inactive. Congrats!
9. rodneyej1 (Posts: 3226; Member since: 06 Jul 2013)
If you don't then you're no better!!
Look at the thousands of real, mature, smart, logical, and competent Android fans on even PA,, then it'll kinda make you wonder why you let the 10, or so idiots bother you... Especially after considering the thousands of WP, and Android, fans on WPCentral who actually support the platform with constructive criticism, tips, and well deserved praise... Just spend less time here, and more time there, and these fools will vaporize...
Just remember that these trolls are the wanna be Android fans that can't get the cool Android devices, so they hate on WP because they are "jelly"... You should have sympathy for anyone who still has to use a GS2, or 4 year old LG out of date device... We aren't better than them, so just let them have the little fun they for some pathetic reason need.... I know its sad, but you got to have compassion for them... Just ignore them if you don't like what they have to say.

You praise WP and at the same time cut up Android and its fan base. Is it a smart thing to do? Maybe for you it is.
Now I will ask you and your WP fan base of users. Microsoft has stated and has plans for next year to merge WP and Windows RT together. If that is the case, then why would any sane person want to spend their hard earned money on any WP device. Not to mention develop anything for WP. Think about it when they merge why learn to code for WP. Developers may as well learn to program for Windows and forget development for WP altogether.
Also when that merger comes next year. Do you think any WP device that does not have a quad core CPU and at least 2gb of ram will be able to run the new Windows RT/WP or Windows 9? Not a chance.
27. ManusImperceptus (Posts: 74; Member since: 10 Jun 2014)
Actually, I believe they're planning on dropping RT and letting WP 9 take over as both mobile and tablet OS; a new version of the OS would be coming no matter what, so shouldn't be a problem for buyers or developers, except for those buying an RT product of course, but they should know better by now anyway...

Android fans are proud at 80% market share
Wp are jealous losers at 3.5%
19. rodneyej1 (Posts: 3226; Member since: 06 Jul 2013)
And, might I add.... Don't explain to any idiots anything they should already know the answer to, and don't answer any stupid bait questions...

People can type in and do a search on the web for themselves. Is it not true that Microsoft is merging WP with Windows RT next year? Just answer that rodneyej1.

Comments #23, #25, & so forth...perfect example of who you were referring to. Makes everyone look bad.

awesome feature; "Bluetooth 4.0 LE, and slider controls that will help Windows Phone users customize the Brightness on their phone's screen"
This are the most basic feature one could expect and yet WP is only getting it now. Glee.

You've been banned sevrals of time disputing with Android, fandroid users. Doesn't that make you a bot....?
Well how could you respond , when you can't accept that Wp is disliked more than iOs.
26. joey_sfb (Posts: 2565; Member since: 29 Mar 2012)
I was not banned even once. I just give my opinion.
Tell me, if what I say is off topic or not true?

I was referring to Rodney, not to you joey_sfb

Cyan + my 1520 = Perfection. I can't wait...
Still to come are dynamic lock screens, Dolby Digital 7.1 audio capture, Sensor Core, and voice activated Cortana support....
Almost 20 updates to my WP in 16 months... Best support of any platform in my book... Unmatched!
29. Cicero (Posts: 207; Member since: 22 Jan 2014)
For sure you work for MS. How come you are so blind and be so infatuated about updates in wp with basics of the basics. Better sit down and be quiet.
8. DogeShibe (Posts: 109; Member since: 10 Jan 2014)
Just can't wait. Some people said it will be available on 10th July in my place.4 days to go...(but if feels like 40 days)
11. DogeShibe (Posts: 109; Member since: 10 Jan 2014)
Got 525 when it was launched.
It's not as popular as 520 but it's better with 1GB Ram...also it's better than 630 too...(1GB advantage,will get dynamic lockscreen first).
There is no successor to 720 yet.
12. rodneyej1 (Posts: 3226; Member since: 06 Jul 2013)
Yeah, I'm not very impressed with the 630 at all... Now, if MS positioned it to where retailers could sell it for $69.99 then it would be impressive... That device just doesn't make any sense....
Anyways, you're right. Your device should get DL off the bat.. I can't wait to use it, and I really can't wait for MS to open it up to the rest of the developers.. That's where the possibilities are endless!
13. DogeShibe (Posts: 109; Member since: 10 Jan 2014)
Why don't they just give the dates instead of 'coming soon'.
Oh yes,so many possibilities :)
14. rodneyej1 (Posts: 3226; Member since: 06 Jul 2013)
Because, MS is incompetent, and doesn't have faith that they can keep a promise when they obviously can... It keeps them safe to say Coming soon...
It's ok.. MS is like a breach baby.... The head is last to come out of it's ass... Lol!
15. DogeShibe (Posts: 109; Member since: 10 Jan 2014)
Lol. That's where Apple looks strong. A company as big as MS should have no excuses.
16. rodneyej1 (Posts: 3226; Member since: 06 Jul 2013)
They are getting better at an alarming rate... It's just when you're a company that huge, and stupidity is entrenched so deep into almost every level of the organization,, it'll take time to flush out the foolishness completely...
Satya = Obama
But, as far as WP goes it seems as though they have seriously learned their lesson, and are now doing what we all (read WP fans) knew they were capable of... MS should've gave this amount of attention to WP from the beginning.... But, they are giving WP the proper treatment now, and that's all that matters.. The past, is the past, and WP is doing much better in terms of what it has to offer now... It's a very good alternative to iDroid... WP still has work to do in the app department, but it's nowhere near as bad as smartphone nerds make it out to be..... It's actually pretty good now..
Nevertheless, my biggest grip with MS is the same as its always been... WP HAS HORRIBLE MARKETING!... As far as market share goes the only, and I mean only, thing holding WP back is awareness... Not features, not hardware, NOT EVEN APPS!...... WP marketing needs to improve, and increase about the same level as WP8.1 improved, and increased in features... Monumentally!...
Marketing, Marketing, Marketing!... That has been WP's biggest problem from day one...
It's really not the OS, hardware, or apps... Any realist, mature, unbiased, logical tech fan can agree that even WP7.5, +Instagram if the public even cares, is more than enough smartphone for the AVERAGE consumer... Period, point blank❕ I know this!
28. ManusImperceptus (Posts: 74; Member since: 10 Jun 2014)
The last two months they've taken a big step up here in Denmark; billboards promoting the 630 on most train and metro stations and featured in carrier commercials on national tv...
31. rodneyej1 (Posts: 3226; Member since: 06 Jul 2013)
That's great, but I just don't understand the 630... Remember the 525?
17. billgates (Posts: 342; Member since: 29 May 2014)
Okay one question, will this update.come to the folks that have.developers build? There.seems to be more rocking DB at the moment
20. rodneyej1 (Posts: 3226; Member since: 06 Jul 2013)
Yes!... Once the regularly scheduled update arrives for your specific device you will then receive your specific firmware, Cyan, and any other patches that your device needs... Sounds to me like three actual updates are coming for those who have DP devices... Just keep in mind that the DP is the final update, and it won't be replaced,,, rather patched, and added to..
