Watch a Chinese granny trying to stop Microsoft’s Surface launch event
Share:
In China, the event was a bit louder. Microsoft launched the Surface tablet in Beijing with cheering, dancers and much fanfare. A little bit too much for a Chinese granny. Worried about her grandchildren not being able to fall asleep, the woman stomped on stage right in the middle of a performance from a dancing crew, waving vigorously at the camera and audience to stop the event.
The security guards quickly jumped on stage just as the dancers started getting confused. Take a look at this funny incident, and watch how the woman’s husband obviously also loyally followed his wife to try and help her.
The show never actually stopped and Microsoft managed to launch its Surface tablet in China after all.

I had to laugh out loud too man... The only thing that pissed me off though, is that she STOLE the show... The cameraman just left the nice looking, out of step dancers. And filmed iGranny and iMom instead, and boy did she look mad.

Tim Cook was worried about the Surface launch and could not sleep, so his grandmother came to ruin... I meant, save the day.

Granny shouldn't worry about grandchildren waking up rather she should make sure some of them don't sell of their kidneys to buy a certian fruit delicacy :D...

Did you mean what is the point of posting this comment?

Thumbs down for what its true isn't it, I mean every one would love to own some sort of premium tablet/pad but why sell organs for it, isn't that crazy. I find it ironical that workers in china work 16-18 hrs in a day for pay as good as peanuts and then teens from the same nation sell kidney to buy one.

and for once people!! stop thinking about the competition!!!!
why always put a blame to others? are you pressured or stress?

this is china where they kill children to control population, murder you in the streets for speaking out against the government, and where people only have the slightest illusion of rights.. not actual rights.

i guess history is lost now... according to my teacher before, china has a strong bond for the family and respects the elderly!
its disgusting how the world change...

Well, if it was in China the question here is why song is in Japanese...
Taking into consideration:
- current tension between China and Japan concerning DiaoYu Island,
- anti-Japanese protests that took place in China during last 1-2 month,
- reported attacks on people having Japanese brand stuff (cameras, cars, etc) where property was destroyed,
it's really takes a genius to pick up Japanese song to promote one of your biggest events.
Maybe granny wanted to protest against the island issue not against Surface :)
