T-Mobile to receive only a limited number of Nexus 6 units - let the Nexus games begin

The Nexus 6 has proven to be quite the elusive phone – after selling out in a matter of minutes, when it was launched on the Google Play Store, and being listed as "out of stock" on Motorola's website – one now has two choices to try and get it – either try to snatch a unit every Wednesday, as Google said it will launch a new batch weekly on said day, or wait until the major carriers get it, for we know that at least T-Mobile will be geting the phone on November 12th.

Well, unfortunately, it seems that carriers' stores may not be stocked up very well on the Google phablet as well, as a recently leaked internal T-Mobile memo claims that the Nexus 6 will only be arriving in select locations. It will still be available for order online, from the carriers' page, but being able to buy it physically will be limited to around 1/3 (according to leaksters) of T-Mo's stores.

The memo clearly states “inventory constraints”, and we'd wager that any other carrier that is about to receive the handset will face similar issues. So, if you are one of the Google enthusiasts who yet crave to get their paws on a Nexus 6 – be aware that this Wednesday is more than likely to be another bloody battle of “first come, first serve, let's hope nothing crashes in the checkout process”. May the odds be ever in your favor.
