Special Batman edition Nokia Lumia 900 heading to the UK

You may remember back in March, Roger’s inventory system pointed toward a future release of a special edition Dark Knight Nokia Lumia 900. It looks like that device may be headed to Europe relatively soon.

Speaking directly to Pocket-lint, Nokia confirmed that there would, in fact, be an extremely limited edition Nokia Lumia 900 at Phones4U in the UK very shortly. That phone is said to be black with the Batman logo laser etched into the body. After its UK debut, it will also have a limited run in Germany and France.

It’s not clear whether it will be called a “Batman Edition” or a “Dark Knight Edition,” as previously reported, but either way, it seems that it will be somewhat similar to the Batman Lumia 800 that saw a short run also.

Just as a refresher, here are a few photos of the Batman Lumia 800. We expect that the 900 won’t vary too much from this look.

Yeah, Nokia did this with the Dark Knight as well. Of course, it was a crappy flip phone through Verizon, nowhere near to the kickass phones in the movie. Other than the back plate with the Batman symbol and a little extra content, there was nothing special about it.

Screw it, still not going to sell that well as compared to the other OS, they have a lot of limitations, I would rather get a symbian phone rather than getting the closed OS of the Windows Phone 7, atleast i can easily use skype in Symbian without problems and i can actually send files using bluetooth in my symbian.
