The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 visits the AnTuTu Benchmark site

The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is one of the most eagerly awaited smartphones due out in the second half of this year. Facing declining sales in its mobile division, Samsung is counting on the next iteration of its phablet, to get the excitement back into its mobile lineup. With this in mind, the Galaxy Note 4 paid a visit to the AnTuTu Benchmark site, which allows us to take a look at some of the specs on the device.

We expect a 5.7 inch screen on the model, and according to AnTuTu, the resolution on the display is 1440 x 2560. Under the hood is the Samsung Exynos 5433 CPU with the ARM Mali T760 GPU handling graphics. In the states, we probably will see the Snapdragon 805 powering the phablet. 3GB of RAM is inside, with 16GB of native storage, and a 16MP rear facing camera. Android 4.4.4 is pre-installed out of the box.

We should see the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 unveiled at IFA on September 3rd. That date will be here before you know it. Whether the device is enough to shake Samsung out of its stupor, won't be known for some time.

Thanks for the tip!

Such a minor upgrade....

It will fail worse than GS5.

No more minor than the 3g to 3gs, 4 to 4s or 5 to 5s.

Each and every iteration of iPhone sold far more than its predecessor.

Both GS and GN peaked at their third one, cuz people are fed up by same soon.

The sales are starting to flatline for the Galaxy series. They need to amp their game up if they want to remain competively relevant.

i can't say that the Iphone has major upgrades every year so they don't really Amp their game either.. but they are apple and because of that they will sell alot more.. can't deny that. Atleast samsung actually started to make Metallic rings instead of plastic around the phone. That was my nr.1 issue. And my nr.1 issue with iphone is the battery time. It might be worth getting if the step up their game and get a good battery life :)

That's why people hold on to the iPhone for 4 years because there is no difference, each galaxy dud sell more then the last I can't wait until November to see the sales and watch you make an and of your self again

Talking about sales, people in my country buy iPhone because of its expensive price so that they can get rich status. Not because of its function or capabilities. Yeah I live in 3rd world country BTW.
Some people even still buy the brand new iPhone 4 in my country (which is $350) just because they want to get the status "iPhone owner" LOL. Eventhough they know there are many devices which is more powerful & more capable than iPhone 4.

Both can't be compared.

Iphone is made for idiots who buys a smartphone without comparing price, specs and features, they just look at the hype and sales figures.
Note series is made for professionals who want to carry almost a full-fledged laptop in their pocket.

Dude, why you always have to bring Apple to the discussion? Do you have an Apple-related psychological problem ?

As a proud owner of a Galaxy Note 3, I see this a minor upgrade :

1. The native Storage on my Galaxy Note 3 was 32 GB going back to 16 GB is the worst move Samsung will take in its history.

2. 3GB of RAM really ? When Android L was announced, I wrote on PhoneArena that people now think of 64-bit as something awesome after Google announced it. If you remember most Android fans claimed that 64-bit is useless because it needs at least 4GB to show the difference. While this is not true. Android fans told me to wait for the Note 4 and then talk. Looks like I can talk now, Android L 64-bit support is useless until that 4 GB comes to life.

3. No Android L? Really ? that mean at least 2-3 months to get the newest version of Android. My Note 3 runs on 4.4.2(up from 4.3) which I got as an OTA update in June after several months of being announced by Google.

Samsung, No Thanks.

You got the 4.4.2 update back in June? That sucks because I got it months before you did.

I really don't care what you think. You see it as hate because you are blinded. I didn't say Android L is a con. I said 64 bit support is. Don't misinterpret my comments sir.

What if the device is locked to a carrier ?
What if his region gets OTA quite late ?
I'm in UAE and its always the last to get OTA's. I reckon at least 1-2 months later than EU.

So don't bash him because you received your OTA earlier. I updated mine through XDA, but thats a seperate story.

1. Until the 3rd of September when it is unveiled we will see how many options of storage the Note 4 has. So far it is all just rumors! Tell me why 16GB is the worst move? You can buy an SD card problem solved if you are short on memory.

2. Why the hell do you need 4GB of ram on a smart phone? The iphone can run fast on just 1GB and we dont have 64bit in Android phones. 3GB is more than enough.

3. There will never be the latest Android software on a phone that comes out before the latest Nexus flagship because they use that phone to show it off. If you were that annoyed by it you would have bought an Nexus 5 or rooted your Note 3. It the same every year!

4. Why do you even care if you have the Note 3? Stop moaning and upgrade every 2 years like everyone else.

Blue to fully use 64 you need four gig RAM Apple iPhone does not multi task so it can run 1 gig fine, every time you touch the screen the iPhone internal stop and see what you want to do and priorities that over what it was doing I like that it limits you can do, trust me Apple will learn the hard way with the keyboards and bigger screen

1. The Note 3 used to come in 2 variants ( 32 and 64 GB ) why now they want to go back to 16 GB when we are paying for the same price. This is a bad move. I'm a multimedia consumer and I need more storage with the need to buy an SD card because it's simply my right to get 32 GB natively.

The Note 3 is going to have a 32bit processor, so 4gb of ram would be a waste. And they can't put L on anything until before it's released. That's like complaining that the iPhone 6 isn't being released with iOS 9.

The problem is if you buy a Samsung Phone without Latest software - it may take months and even years to get even if it comes out a week after you buy the phone. And I think that's the nature of the complaint - why not release this phone after they can preinstall "L" on it so that people can enjoy it right away and not wait for it to go thru manufacturer AND carrier.

With iPhone you're guaranteed a new iOS the day it comes out regardless if you bought your phone yesterday or a year and a half ago.

Apple controls all the hardware, while Android is hardware agnostic. Then, manufacturers modify Android to their liking, so in reality you have many different Androids. It's going to take longer.

And with Apple you do get the latest, but it's usually a gimped latest, without all the latest features. Siri was withheld from the iPhone 4 when the 4s was released with it, for instance, even though it ran just fine on it. (Apple even removed the Siri app from all prior phones that had it)

Thanks for you post iGeek. I was really hoping that Samsung will raise the ante with this one - as and iOS user - I actually appreciate Note3 and it's features, I'm sure Note4 is a much better phone (but Note3 is a hard to improve one already).

But your bring up a good point, I remember the bashing I got from the 64bit on iOS related topics - I own a 5S and 64bit architecture is making a lot of hardware and software related improvements and its noticable compared to my wives iPhone 5. Fingerprint reader is quick and accurate because of 64bit and so are the 64bit optimized games - the difference is staggering between my and my wife's phone for same software. Not to mention the slo-motion videos that take advantage of just that - 64bit. AND all the anti-apple spammers vowed that this thing was pointless unless it's got 4GB ram.

I wonder what they will say now? Nevertheless, Note 4 will be a good phone...

The Note 4 is shipping with a Snapdragon 805, a 32bit CPU (the US variant, anyway). Even when L releases, the phone will forever be 32bit. That extra gig of ram would be pointless (unless they utilize address extensions. I did that once on a Windows machine, and I don't recommend it)

Now if any other version releases with a 64bit CPU and less than 4gb of ram, I will day the same thing I did with the iPhone 5s - that its a waste, and that most of the benefit of 64bit is the additional address space.

Android L is not officially released... it is just announced, how samsung can put Android L in note 4 when it is not officially available in the market from google? well, if you have note 3 then dont bother to purchase note 4, atleast not now bcoz you already have a great device why to over spend money? note 4 is launching in september just wait, read reviews, read how it is, look at its functionalities and then decide to get it or not... I will suggest not to be like an if0ol who dont have any knowledge about newer iteration of iphone but jump up from the bed to rush up to purchase shouting "new iphone is coming, new iphone is coming"
