Oppo to offer its ColorOS to LG G2 users; beta testers wanted
Oppo's ColorOS is going to be made available for LG G2 users, now that three months of development work has been completed. All that remains, is for the manufacturer to complete beta testing on the OS. Right now, Oppo is seeking those with the unlocked European version of the phone (LG D802) to test the ColorOS ROM. From now through September 19th, Oppo will continue to recruit beta testers, and says that there is no limit to the number of LG G2 users that will be allowed to join. Once the testing phase is over with, ColorOS will be made available to all compatible LG G2 devices.

Those joining the beta test must agree to share feedback with Oppo about any problems they are having with the OS. In addition, those participating in the test must promise not to share any information publicly.

If you're interested in joining the beta test, click on the sourcelink. We do have to add that so far, the news that Oppo will share a version of ColorOS with LG G2 owners, is not sitting well with the Oppo community. Some are complaining that Oppo is shifting its focus from producing high-end smartphones, like the Oppo Find 7, to developing software.

If you're an LG G2 owner, would you consider giving Oppo's ColorOS a try?
