Nokia's new camera app already available in Windows Phone Store
Earlier on Tuesday, Nokia announced that it would be offering a new camera app for its Windows Phone 8 flavored models. We have some good news. The app has already been made available in the Windows Phone Store. It combines all of the features of the Nokia Pro Cam and Nokia smart Cam apps so that you don't have to keep switching off between them.

Nokia Camera allows you to make the changes you want so you can take great photographs. With auto mode, those using the app will be able to quickly change settings if they are taking an action shot, or using the camera at night. Manual mode lets you control settings like white balance, ISO, focus and shutter speed. This will let the more experienced photographer set up a picture the way he or she wants it. Smart mode will allow you to combine shots taken of a sequence to focus on motion, remove motion or change faces so that everyone looks their best.

The app allows you to store the unedited, original versions of your photos so that you can zoom, reframe, and edit them well after they have been snapped.

i noticed this this morning when i had an update for Nokia Procam. it just turned it into Nokia camera, since it makes smart cam obsolete i wonder what Nokia will do with it (e.g. unlist it or update it). but it is a very streamlined, and i believe they added a few features like bracketing. but they streamlined control of the flash, even in pro mode, so i don't have as complete control of both the flash and the focus light with one touch anymore, but i still love all the options. its an amazing app. i love taking long exposure pics

The new Nokia Camera app is far, far improved. Opens and loads faster, takes shots instantly, adds the Smart Camera feature right in it, and is just a more fluid experience overall. Awesome.
