Motorola has been teasing us with some hints that the option to engrave the back of the Moto X is coming soon. The company published several photos on Facebook, Google+ and Twitter which show several colorful rear cases engraved with the corresponding social network's most defining feature.
The Moto X was advertised as a US-made smartphone offering a plethora of design options – the buyer was supposed to be given the opportunity to design the exterior of the device with different color combinations, plus the beforementioned option to engrave the rear case with text of his own choice. The MotoMaker customization service is perhaps the single most defining feature of the Moto X, but when it launched along with the device, it offered fewer customization options than promised and the engraving feature was nowhere to be found, disappointing many potential customers.
By the way, MotoMaker is also expected to hit Verizon today, so if you are excited and can't wait to create and lay hands on a phone that represents your inner self, be sure to check the MotoMaker
site often (link provided below) as it is not clear yet when the service will come online.
