HTC Fireball gets its WiFi certification and appears destined for Verizon
Share:
The model number from the Wifi certification PDF is ADR6410L which is the same model number that was found next to the HTC Fireball a couple of months ago. At the very end of the model number are the letters VW which suggest this device is indeed headed for Verizon Wireless in the future. Perhaps it is the mystery Android Ice Cream Sandwich phone that surfaced a little more than a week ago.
Aside from the fact that it is now WiFi certified, we know nothing about the HTC Fireball. Will that be the name of the smartphone when it hits Verizon or will it be a next-gen version of the “Incredible” line that has been so popular on the nation’s largest carrier? Only time will tell, but here’s to hoping we find out sooner rather than later.

I'm thinking that "HTC Fireball" is just a code name, and that if it is the same as the mystery HTC device that was leaked about a week ago then it could possibly be the Droid Incredible 3. It's almost time for the the Incredible 3 to start being leaked considering that it's almost March and the Incredible and Incredible 2 both came out in April (which is a little more than a month ago).

I'm hoping it's their next big hitter, flagship for this year like samsung does with the Galaxy SIII. 720p screen, S4 proccessor, 1 gig ram, nfc, the whole shabang.

Let's just hope they didn't forget the importance of a large capacity battery. That's the only thing holding me back from getting a new HTC phone.

The flagship should have 2GB RAM for this year. 1.5GB probably would be ok but not staying the same as last year.

i'm thinking it's the Incredible 3 that we've probably already seen.
