Starting today, the
Google Nexus 5X is $30 cheaper if you're buying it from Google Store (at least in the US), and it looks like this is a permanent price cut - unlike those deals during Black Friday, or the holiday season. The Nexus 5X 16 GB can now be bought for $349, while the 32 GB model costs $399 (down from $379 and $429, respectively).
Manufactured by LG, the Nexus 5X is the spiritual successor to the
Nexus 5 from 2013 (also made by LG). It's not exactly a high-end device, but it offers attractive features, including a fast and accurate fingerprint scanner, a great 12.3 MP rear camera with laser auto focus and 4K video recording, and stock Android Marshmallow. Make sure to read our
Nexus 5X review if you want to find out more about the handset.
Meanwhile, the larger and more powerful Huawei-made
Nexus 6P is still sold at prices starting at $499 (just like in the first day of availability). However, if you want a large Nexus smartphone for less money, you should know that the Motorola-made
Nexus 6 can now be
purchased for as low as $249.99 via Amazon.
