Android powered Sony Ericsson Shakira sheds its name & simply referred to as the X8

As much as some people would've loved to sport an Android powered smartphone bearing the name of one hip moving international singer, the Sony Ericsson Shakira is now receiving an appropriate name fit to follow its bigger brother. Now that its name is being changed to the Sony Ericsson Xperia X8, it naturally will be a step below the X10 and is positioned to be a mid-range offering from the manufacturer. There are also plenty of images that give us a good look at the upcoming Android handset which doesn't stray too far from the usual design mix out of Sony Ericsson of late. Slightly bigger than both the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 mini and mini pro, the X8 would make a decent addition to the growing Xperia line. However, some hope that it simply won't be just a re-sized version of their flagship X10, but instead, pack on some interesting features like an updated customization or improvements to make it substantially unique from their current offerings.

I think they forget how to design a phone too... Xperia X10 (L size), Xperia X8 (M size) and Xperia X10 mini (S size)... that's next.. ?? Oh yea.. the Android Walkman phone... does that one fit in the XS size category?
