Video allegedly stars all three 2018 Apple iPhone dummy units

Remember Sonny Dickson? He is the Australian tipster who back in 2013, disseminated a number of pictures showing dummy units of the colorful Apple iPhone 5c well before the device was officially unveiled. Today, a video created by DetroitBORG, and posted on its YouTube channel, presents dummy units of the three new Apple iPhone models expected to be unveiled next month. The dummy units were obtained by Dickson.

The video shows the iPhone X sequel, which will carry a 5.8-inch OLED panel, the iPhone X Plus unit with a massive 6.5-inch OLED screen, and the unit dubbed the iPhone 9. The latter will reportedly sport a 6.1-inch LCD panel, and will be the most affordable of the trio. All three handsets will be equipped with the TrueDepth Camera, Face ID and the notch. The trio will come with iOS 12 pre-installed and the TSMC manufactured A12 chipset under the hood. A fast charger is expected to be included in the box with each of the new phones. This eliminates the need for 2018 iPhone buyers to run over to the Apple Store and pay $49 for one. After all, that is what owners of the iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone X have to do if they want to rapidly re-charge the battery inside their handset.

Earlier this month, we used some common sense to predict that the three new iPhone models will be unveiled on September 12th. That was the date last year when Apple took the wraps off of the 2017 units.

Dual Sim 6.1inch all the way. My assumption of why it would be cheaper: - Much smaller battery compared to the other 2. - Obviously cheaper camera - Cheaper screen but atleast 1080P - No stainless steel. - A11 chip (Which is still awesome)

It will have the a12 I would imagine. Don’t think that is where the money is saved

I think 326ppi LCD and No dual camera. Battery should be decent since it's a mid sized phone.

Cant wait to see the A12 in the new phones. If im guessing correct they would be the first 7nm chips. Also fast chargers included will be awesome for people who own the ipad pros.

No, just like Samsung or google or huawei don’t care about you, but at least apple gives me devices that I enjoy and make a happy user as well as millions of people out there, we are so happy that we are not trolling articles from other brands all bitter and frustrated like most of you are :)

Never had an issue with my samsungs, from easily rooting my S3 to the air gestures on my note 3, the power of my note 4, the design on my S7 edge, and the power and versatility of my S9+... I'm at the fore front Havent had too many issues with my iphones either besides the fact they are boring... iphone 4s had a great feel, the iphone 5s was a nice little phone, iphone 7 finally stepped up with some much needed features bruh... you are the most bitter member on this site, i've see your comments multiple times towards android users and its just pathetic plus hands down the best phone i've had til this day would be the HTC EVO, still powers up and whips around like it came out the box, granted I have it rooted and i can control every aspect of its internals

Most of us don't need an apple logo to feel significant amongst our peers. We also get considerably more hardware choices to experiment with when it comes to our preferred platform.

For a real reply to somewhat of a troll. I would say it has nothing to do with milking but a lot to do with not being ready somewhere down the line. I used my iPad fast charger and my fast charger that cam with my $20 Samsung wireless charging pad to fast charg it. Never buy the chargers or headphones from apple. They are not that good. Actually they are incredibly easy to break as far as the chords in the charger and headphones speakers low easy. I still have most that crap in the box and use my ankar charger and skull candy for cheap and reliable.

I'm not trolling, i was simply highlighting the fact there has been no cons said about apple not including the fast charger. we all know they like to milk their customers, and until their loyalist wake up and demand more they will continue

Fast chargers came with my Nexus 6 and LG V30. Just makes for a nicer out-of-the-box experience when our OEM includes them while they're boosting about the phones fast charge capabilities.

i really don't get the hype of the new iphone. it looks exactly the same like the s9 to the s8.

14. Phullofphil

Posts: 1762; Member since: Feb 10, 2009

There is no hype except the pluss and the cheaper model. I don’t know what will be the difference in the x and xs except processor and maybe a bump up to 512gb

I switched from the Galaxy S8 to the iPhone X and they certainly don't look exactly the same.

S9 and s8 are samsung’s phone. I’m getting hype to iphone X plus though.

I bet the 6.5" has less than 3000mAh.

Best not that's the one I'd prefer, but we'll see.

Iphones doesn’t need 4000mah to last for a day. Their software and hardware integration is the best among mobile industries. Their chips are amazing though, A12 a beast for sure.

So, going to be same design for the next 4 years?
