Samsung's brand-new Galaxy A37 5G mid-ranger is on sale at an outright discount for the first time
A $50 discount may not sound mind-blowing, but it's pretty good for a just-released phone with a... not-so-bad price point.

If you think you need more than 128 gigs of internal storage space and/or 6GB RAM, you can go for a 256GB/8GB configuration in either one of those places and also save $50 from a regular price of $539.99 in your choice of white, charcoal, or lavender colorways.
The Galaxy A37 5G is obviously the more affordable of the two AI-enriched A-series mid-rangers unveiled by Samsung around a month and a half ago, but it's still unclear if the quality/price ratio is... all that it could have been. Yes, the Galaxy A57 5G is considerably costlier (especially now), but for pretty good reason, rocking a significantly thinner profile, less bulky body, better processor, and (slightly) better rear camera system.

Now priced at the same starting level as last year's Galaxy A36 5G back when it first went on sale, the A37 packs a rather disappointing Exynos 1480 processor, as well as a... respectable 5,000mAh battery equipped with blazing fast 45W charging technology. The long-term software support is supposed to be epic, so choosing between this model and something like Google's Pixel 10a might come down to your screen size preference.
If you like your mid-range phones big... and can't afford the Galaxy A57 5G, you can probably pull the trigger here without overthinking things.
