Certified refurbished 32GB Google Pixel XL is priced as low as $230 through Amazon
It seems that everyone has a deal on the Google Pixel line these days. Yesterday we told you about a sale found on eBay that had "mint condition" Pixel 2 XL units (sans box) priced at $549. Today, we have different deals to tell you about that are listed on Amazon's website. First of all, this sale covers the first-generation Pixel models, and the phones themselves are certified refurbished. That means the phones are tested, cleaned, tested and repackaged. They also feature a 90-day warranty and come with all "relevant" accessories.

There are different models being offered by the seller, BuySPRY. The latter has a 98% positive feedback rating on Amazon. The options include:

  • 32GB Pixel XL (Quite Black)-$229.78
  • 32GB Pixel XL (Really Blue)-$229.99
  • 32GB Pixel XL (Very Silver)-$243.99
  • 128GB Pixel XL (Quite Black)-$257.06
  • 128GB Pixel XL (Very Silver)-$278.00
  • 32GB Pixel (Quite Black)-$218.99
  • 32GB Pixel (Really Blue)-$214.99
  • 32GB Pixel (Very Silver)-$200.00
  • 128GB Pixel (Very Silver)-$255.00
The best thing about these units is that they will receive the Android P update when it launches later this year. But do keep in mind that these models carry an IP53 certification rating, which means that they are protected only from spills and light rain.

I have a 128GB Pixel (non-XL) arriving today. Only thing I'm really concerned about is the microphone issue. I'm sure there will be some burn-in where the navigation buttons are, but it's usually only going to be visible in certain conditions. Most people exaggerate the issue far too much.

Certified refurbished means absolutely nothing. Certified by who? Certified to do what?

Don't get your hopes to high. I bought a certified refurbished Pixel XL 128GB a month ago via german amazon. It had INSANE burn-in (never buy used amoled phones) and another reviewer also mentioned a near dead battery on his purchase. This "certified refurbished" often doesn't mean s**t.

Not a bad deal. The Pixel is almost two years old, but the fact that it's running stock Android and has flagship specs means it's still a killer phone to get. If you need something that's affordable and usable on all carriers, the Pixel is a very good buy.

I vouch for it. A pixel user since December last. A truly good phone. Got Oreo, if I'm not mistaken, in Jan this year.

I just bought one to replace my iPhone X until the ugly pixel 3 comes out. Mine arrives tomorrow. Love the software so an ugly phone won’t kill me.

I always thought there were no 64 GB 1st Generation Pixels until I saw this article. Then I scrolled down to confirm I wasn't wrong at all...
