It's been nearly a month since Motorola released its new Edge (2026). While the $599.99 asking price isn't enough to convince me on its own, the Android phone is somehow still available with its launch offer at the official store.

Let me remind you in case you missed it: the Motorola phone currently ships with not one but two freebies with a total value of $399.98. Those are the Moto Buds Loop and the Moto Watch.

The Motorola Edge (2026) is a compact Android phone that boasts Android 16 out of the box, a stylish yet durable design, and a 5,000mAh battery with 60W charging. Right now, you can get the phone with $400 in savings, as it ships with two gifts (Moto Watch and Moto Buds Loop).

Now, while you'd still have to pay full price for the smartphone, that's not necessarily a dealbreaker. After all, it's not every day that you can get the complete Motorola package at just $599.99.

Right off the bat, I should warn you that the Edge (2026) isn't the most powerful mid-ranger on the market. With its Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chip, the OnePlus 15R is a much better option for power users (provided you don't mind the somehow uncertain OnePlus future in the US).

If you don't need the ultimate horsepower in a mid-range package, this phone won't let you down. It packs a MediaTek Dimensity 7450 processor and should handle daily tasks quite wel.

On top of that, the model is quite compact, boasting a 6.3-inch OLED screen. According to Motorola's estimates, it boasts up to 5,200 nits of brightness in peak brightness mode. That should make the panel perfectly legible even under the blazing sun.

Most Motorola phones only come with two years of OS support, and this fella is no different. It ships with Android 16 out of the box and will be supported through Android 18. Security patches are set to continue until 2029.

While the Motorola Edge (2026) certainly isn't my favorite mid-range phone released in 2026, I find the overall value proposition hard to pass up. With its compact size, beautiful design and two freebies that save you nearly $400, it's a delight.
