Microsoft's 5th Gen Surface Pro scores unbeatable $360 discount in keyboard bundle
The 2018-released Microsoft Surface Pro 6 is probably the best tablet in the world for productivity, both at home and in the workplace, but 2017's fifth-generation Surface Pro is not too far behind, at least in terms of value for your money. After all, the two look pretty much identical on the outside, and although the newer model obviously packs a faster processor, the older version is certainly no slouch either.

At the right price, the Surface Pro (5th gen) might even be considered a smarter buy than its successor, despite the frequent discounts recently offered by Microsoft and third-party retailers like Best Buy on the 2018 generation of the popular 2-in-1 detachable computer. Best Buy is today (and today only) selling the Intel Core m3-powered 2017 variant at a massive $360 markdown in combination with a Platinum-colored keyboard.

The bundle would normally fetch a grand total of $959, but as part of this "deal of the day", you can pay just $599 for the fifth-gen Surface Pro and one of those swanky, productivity-enhancing Signature Type Covers. This exact same 2-for-1 package has actually been on sale several times before, priced slightly higher than today in deals just as limited as the one taking place for 24 hours only right now. Best Buy also went as low as $599 way back in December, but if you missed that opportunity, here's your second chance to snap up an unbeatable bargain.

It's definitely worth pointing out that Microsoft is directly selling this 2017 Surface Pro model at its $749 list price at the time of this writing (no keyboard included), while charging $799 for an entry-level Surface Pro 6 configuration that typically costs $100 more. Bottom line, if you're in the market for an ultra-affordable tablet/keyboard combo with a decent 4 gigs of RAM and 128GB SSD, as well as an impressive battery life and insanely sharp screen, now's the time to pull the trigger. No reason to hesitate, no point waiting for a heftier discount. $360 off is surely as hefty as it gets.
