Compact and powerful Marshall Emberton III gets a rare price cut at Amazon

We've got just a few days until Amazon Prime Day kicks off, but if you're looking for a new Bluetooth speaker, the Marshall Emberton III might be the one to grab. Right now, you can get this compact but capable music companion for 23% off, which knocks it under $140.

I last saw this model at a solid discount back in August, so deals like this don't come around every day. So, if you're tempted, head to Amazon and grab the Black and Silver color variant (the only one that's 23% off) while you can.

• You can upgrade your individual listening sessions while you're at it with the Galaxy Buds 4 Pro. The earbuds are down to just $154.99 right now.

The Emberton III follows the unique Marshall design, featuring the iconic grille, textured exterior, and durable build. On top of that, with the IP67 rating on deck, you don't have to worry so much about water and dust ruining your music companion.

But its looks aren't the only highlight: the unit delivers impressive audio output for its size, offering multidirectional sound that can easily fill a room.

Another great feature here is the long battery life. According to Marshall's estimates, you can get over 32 hours of music on a single charge. That said, listening at higher volumes might diminish its overall playtime, so keep that in mind.

Additionally, unlike many Bluetooth speakers, this model packs a built-in microphone. This may seem like an unnecessary extra, but it's certainly nice to know you can always pick up calls directly through the speaker when your phone isn't within easy reach.

Ultimately, the Marshall Emberton III delivers excellent value for money. Sure, it's a bit pricier than similarly sized JBL models, but if you're looking for an unmistakably Marshall aesthetic, this one is the one for you. Grab one and save 23% at Amazon.
