Garmin's ultimate performance watch, the Garmin Fenix 8, may be quite pricey usually, but not right now. Believe it or not, the Solar Sapphire edition of this model is now down by a hefty 23% at Amazon, landing the $1,100 wearable down to about $850.

Although the model debuted in 2024, it has never been more affordable than it is right now. So, while its current asking price isn't exactly 'cheap,' it's still the best discount you can get.

As my colleague Vic puts it in our Garmin Fenix 8 review, this smartwatch is truly supreme. It sports a premium design and feels great to wear. That said, Garmin used some high-end materials, so it feels a bit heavier than more affordable alternatives.

Unlike many of the more affordable GPS watches from Garmin, this fella also boasts a built-in microphone. This not only lets you answer phone calls from your wrist but also enables voice commands. For instance, you can set up an alarm or start a timer with a voice command (even when your phone isn't connected).

As you might expect from such a premium model, the Fenix 8 boasts many of the best workout and health-tracking features, including HRV status, sleep coaching, recovery time estimations, daily workout suggestions, and more.

Best of all, the Fenix 8 Solar offers up to 28 days of use on a single charge with just three hours of solar charging per day. This makes it a solid alternative to the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 and the recently announced Apple Watch Ultra 4.

Truth be told, if this model weren't discounted right now, I wouldn't recommend it. But since you can now buy it at its lowest price on Amazon, I think it's a worthwhile investment you shouldn't overlook.
