The Galaxy Z Fold 8 is a remarkable hit in terms of sheer sales numbers. Samsung has struck gold with its new passport-looking foldable and people are voting with their wallets. They love the fresh wider-than-taller (when unfolded) aspect ratio that the Z Fold 8 brings along.
But, just like anything else on this planet, it's not perfect, as there's no such thing. It doesn't have the biggest battery cell, nor the best camera setup in a foldable.
These are all compromises that people are willing to make.
But what about its display? After all, the display (the inner one, the one that folds) is the reason number one, two and three that a person buys a foldable. While it's bright and gorgeous, some users have found that the display on the Galaxy Z Fold 8 bends inwards.
Poking things around
On an official Samsung Community forum, a user by the nickname of EugeneS is asking the real questions.
Per their account, all four corners of the Galaxy Z Fold 8 are "bending inwards". The user provides a photo example, too. Here it is:

This is what happens when one "slowly" pushes the corner down. Per the user, the screen's corners "sink in the frame", as if there's nothing underneath it.
That for my point of view looks like a bad quality build.
Per responders, the bending corners phenomenon could be a deliberate engineering decision by Samsung, not a bug. For example, if the device got broken or cracked display corners while in its testing phase, that would explain why the corners are prone to "sinking".
Should I push the corners, too?
I'd advise against doing so. If not for anything else, you might let dust in between your screen and the frame. This would suck.
But I want to!
No, seriously—don't do it. If you're concerned about your Galaxy Z Fold 8, maybe check with your local (and official) Samsung store. This could be a bug, but it could turn out to be a normal display behavior.
