Apple is on the move. The company is cooking something extra for the headphone crowd, but it's not yet another pair of earbuds.
Cupertino could soon release a new pair of over-ear headphones called the Beats 360. These could come with some pretty solid noise cancellation capabilities.
It's a secret

Right now, not much is known about the Beats 360, but per the latest rumors, these have just popped up in a South American regulatory database.
The Beats 360 moniker isn't explicitly mentioned in the filing, just the A3577 model number—but insiders claim that "it's the same picture". Funnily enough, the same A3577 model number appeared in the US' FCC database earlier this year.
What's more, if you were paying close attention to the 2026 FIFA World Cup, you've probably seen stars like Lamine Yamal wearing an unknown pair of headphones. Well, it's most likely the Beats 360 themselves.
The Beats 360 moniker itself came to light after some now-deactivated Amazon listings. I, personally, like the moniker, but keep in mind that we're dealing with an unreleased product, so these could be titled differently.
Like any other current-day headphones, these pay great attention to the design. The Beats 360 could be available in four colors:

…but I won't be surprised if there's another hue.
For extra comfort, Apple will probably offer at least two types of interchangeable ear cushions and headbands like Performance Knit and UltraPlush.
Another AirPods Max copy?
Apple's AirPods Max are pretty popular and the Beats 360 will surely be inspired by them. The upcoming over-ear headphones would likely feature a unique design with a telescoping headband and up to 1.75x more noise cancellation than the Beats Studio Pro.
The Beats 360 could also be Apple's first-ever sweat-resistant and water-resistant over-ear headphones, but we'll need to test them for sure.
Nothing concrete is mentioned about the battery cell capacity, apart from an "all-day battery life", but that's nothing special. Even sketchy brands can come up with headphones that go all day long these days.
What's your favorite headphone design?
Will these cost an arm and a leg?
Price is another front where nothing is certain. Some expect the Beats 360 to be priced at $300 in the US, but the Beats Studio Pro pair comes in at $350.
With the inflation craze, I won't be surprised if the Beats 360 arrive at $400, though. But let's hope I'm wrong.
Sure, pure audiophiles would look elsewhere, but Apple's headphones are a nice start for inexperienced users, as this Reddit discussion proves.
