YouTube gains new in-app messaging feature for chat and video sharing

Google has just announced YouTube now features a new messaging feature that enables users to chat and share videos within the app. The new feature will be available starting today for all YouTube users on mobile devices.

Aside from being able to share and receive videos in the app, YouTube users can now chat about the videos they shared, as well as reply with another video, invite others to the conversation, and much more.

All the videos you share will be grouped in a new tab on the YouTube mobile app, which will make it easier to see what videos your friends have shared recently. You can even create a conversation group and share your favorite videos.

Keep in mind that the new messaging feature is only available on mobile devices. You can access it via YouTube's share button and choosing your phone's contacts list. Another way to use the new feature is to share a direct link and add new friends to chat about the video.

Redundant and stupid. Google is really running out of ideas. Too busy thinking about inequality and policing eachothers speech to put out quality products? Haven't used a google app in 3 years, don't miss it.
