YouTube Go hits 10 million downloads even though it's not available worldwide

YouTube Go made it out of beta back in September after about a year of testing. Even after the final version of the app was released in the Google Play Store, YouTube Go wasn't made available worldwide and it still can't be downloaded in most countries.

Even so, YouTube Go app recently hit the impressive 10 million downloads milestone on the Google Play Store. This is quite the achievement considering the rather short time it took to hit the 10 million mark and the limited availability of the app.

YouTube Go is a lighter version of the popular YouTube app, which enables users to watch videos even when they have limited data or a slow connection. It even allows users to choose which video to watch and which one to download.

There's also a preview video feature implemented and the option to choose how many MBs you want to use on videos. Basically, YouTube Go allows users to save data while watching their favorite YouTube videos.
