To celebrate the one-year anniversary since the launch of its first (and so far only) smartphone, OnePlus announced today that it is globally opening up sales of the OnePlus One. Initially available only through an invitation system, the OnePlus One was more recently offered as part of open sales every Tuesday. Starting today, the manufacturer will expand the open sales system to every day of the week.
OnePlus 2 will be initially be available by invitation only. This isn't exactly new information, as the manufacturer originally announced the decision last fall, quoting its thin profit margin and a potential disaster in case of overstocking as the main reasons for going back to the invitation system with its upcoming smartphone.
