Yahoo's new app tells you when and where you can find your favorite shows and films to stream

As rumors about the future of Yahoo continue to swirl, the internet pioneer has introduced a new app designed for those who enjoy watching their favorite television shows and movies stream on their phone or tablet screen. Named the Yahoo Video Guide, the app is available for free from the Google Play Store for Android users, and from the App Store for those totin' an iOS device.

The Yahoo Video Guide will run through all of your available services to find where your favorite shows are playing. And once you find out, a simple click will allow you to instantly view the episode if it is available from one of your streaming services. You can also purchase the episode with a click if it is offered on Google Play or iTunes.

If you don't know what to watch at a given time, the Yahoo Video Guide has a Mood Picker. Click on the GIFs that match your current mood, and the app will make suggestions.
