The online agent has a host of devices on sale for the holiday season. We just passed along a great deal they have for the Nokia Lumia 810 on T-Mobile, well if that was not enough to motivate you, the deal they are offering on the Nokia Lumia 822 for Verizon is sure to get you thinking. The newly released Windows Phone on Big Red is yours for only $0.99, and that is for all available colors, black, grey and white. Naturally the obligatory 2-year service agreement applies.
If it piques your interest, check out our review of the Lumia 822 to help make up your mind. Verizon’s version of the Lumia 8xx series is distinctly different from the other models and not just in styling. Wireless charging is standard (you still have to purchase the charging plate), it has 16GB of on-board storage, and will accommodate microSD cards up to 64GB.
It will be hard to find a better deal for a newly released handset.
While by today’s standards the 480x800 display is middle-of-the road, the colors are clear, and Nokia’s supersensitive display feature is on board. In addition to that, all of the Nokia experience apps are present, Nokia City Lens, Nokia Drive+, Nokia Maps, and the commercial free music streaming service, Nokia Music.
If you were wondering about Verizon’s other Windows Phone handset, the Windows Phone 8X by HTC is also on sale for $129.99, which is $70 off the carrier’s subsidized price. Wirefly does not indicate how long these deals will last, but the site does have its “Black Friday” deals going on now, and the Lumia 822 is just part of a bunch of devices available for pocket-change. Throw in free shipping and the ability to trade in your old phone and it makes a pretty good case at the start of the holiday shopping season.
