What did you buy / plan to buy on Black Friday?

The one-day shopping event that these days often extends to the whole weekend and continues with more deals on Cyber Monday is set to beat previous years sales records. There is a good reason for that: you can save hundreds of dollars on the best phones of the year and get most of them for free with an eligible trade-in at the major carriers. iPads and other tablets are also discounted hugely, and of course there are all other sorts of sales on wearables, electronics and what not.

With so many people waking up in the wee hours to stand in line in front of their local Best Buy, Target or other store, we can't help, but wonder: what are you planning on buying and what have you actually bought?

Have you been delaying a purchase, anticipating the 2016 Black Friday sales? And what do you think about the whole Black Friday craze and the discounts this year: are you happy with them?
