Verizon is intent on sending out updates for their Tour, Bold, and Curve models
Verizon customers holding onto a BlackBerry Curve 8530, Tour 9630, or Bold 9650 will most likely be seeing a software update being pushed out to them later on today.

As much as some BlackBerry Bold 9650 owners might be crossing their fingers hoping that it'll be BlackBerry OS 6, they'll be somewhat disappointed to know that it won't be the next generation platform in the flesh. Instead, the update for all three smartphones will simply add some software enhancements and nothing more. As for the specific time when it'll be given the green light, handset owners can expect to see it being rolled out starting at 6:00PM EST today.

Regardless, it's always nice to see updates bringing forth some much needed improvements – just be sure to backup all of your data ahead of time.
