Update pushed out for Microsoft Surface tablets
Microsoft is pushing out an update for both versions of its Microsoft Surface tablets. The Microsoft Surface RT update will fix a bug that limited connectivity and also improves the tablet's Wi-Fi to allow it to connect to a number of access points. The update also ends a problem with Wi-Fi that caused the tablet to crash.

For the Microsoft Surface Pro, its update repairs a problem with on screen touch navigation in the UEFI boot menu. It also fixes a problem that the Microsoft Surface Pro tablet had been having with Touch cover and Surface Type connectivity. For North American versions of the Surface Pro, the update will allow the slate to support 106/109 keyboards. The update also repairs a problem that allowed the Wi-Fi driver to be disabled when the Airplane Mode button was toggled.

The update, which takes about 10 minutes to install, is being sent out OTA. You can try to manually download the update by going from PC Settings to Settings to Change PC Settings. Under PC Settings, click on Windows Update and then Check for Updates.
