Update adds a new feature to Office 365 Admin for Windows Phone
The Office 365 Admin app for Windows Phone has been updated, and a new feature added. The app is used by IT administrators to help them stay connected to their Office 365 environment while out of the office. That means that the app can be used to change the passwords of a company's fleet of handsets with Office 365 installed. This way, the admin can lock out certain company phones from logging on to the company's Office 365 files, even if he is actually sitting in Yankee Stadium cheering for A-Rod.
The update to version 2.4 adds a new feature that allows Message Center posts not written in English to be translated. That could come in handy for multi-lingual companies. The update also adds bug fixes and performance enhancements. Version 2.3 added support for the platform's Live Tile.
If your job as an IT administrator requires you to be connected at all time to to employees in the field using the Office 365 suite, this app should be on your phone. The same update has also been added to the Android version of the app although the iOS version of the app is still running version 2.3.
