Unofficial version of BlackBerry OS 6 for the Bold 9700 is leaked
As we quickly find ourselves close to the one year mark since the BlackBerry Bold 9700 made its initial launch into the market, we're getting ever closer to the release of BlackBerry OS 6.0 for this aging, yet still amazing smartphone.

For those who are itching to get their hands on checking out OS 6 for their Bold 9700 handsets, the unofficial version of the next generation platform has been recently leaked for all to check out and experience. So far, it looks like BlackBerry Torch 9800 owners have been soaking up all the new features with the latest platform iteration, but it shouldn't be long before Bold 9700 owners will get in officially as well.

In the mean time though, you can download the unofficial version for right now if you just can't wait any longer. Just make sure to backup all of your data first before proceeding to install this leaked copy.

. . Too bad OS6 is not available as un update for BlackBerry 9700. Rim is loosing credibility and reputation... No way people will buy the 9780 just to get OS6. As a consequence Apple is now overtaking RIM in sales. Apple released an update to OS4 for the 3GS and 3G!!! Is now RIM working for Apple?????? Did Apple secretly acquire RIM to destroy competition????? . .
