Hey, look at what is Motorola's idea for an announcement that grabs attention. "We'll be sharing an exciting Motorola announcement today on The Oprah Show - make sure to tune in!" says Moto's Facebook status, and who are we to argue with the excitement that will bring.

What gadget or service could possibly be announced in the first day of the last season of such a juggernaut of a show that is Oprah's finest? And, what is more interesting, how much is Moto playing for the hype? We'd only deem the Stingray tablet with Gingerbread worthy of that honor, but what else are you thinking?

UPDATED: Motorola just announced that T-Mobile will be getting the rugged Motorola Defy with Android on The Oprah Winfrey Show. Looks like those rumors for a waterproof touchscreen phone on T-Mobile have been true all along.

Why is this news? T-Mobe has enough reception problems to deal with without advertising underwater phone calls. Plus poor Oprah is gunna break her teeth trying to eat that sucker. Poor poor fat oprah....
