Truecaller, the popular Android dialer has just received a small update that brings a couple of improvements and fixes. With 250 million users, Truecaller helps users block spam and telemarketing calls, but also allows them to share their location with their friends.

According to developers, among the most important changes included in the update, there's the better search experience with more numbers searchable, as well as improved spam detection with more numbers.

Also, Truecaller has just gained significant improvements in blocking to avoid ringing before a call is blocked. These are just some of the enhancements the Android app received in the update, but there are also a couple of fixes that many users have been expecting for quite some time.

First off, the slowness while opening an SMS has been removed, so Truecaller users should now get a smooth experience when using this specific feature. In addition, the developers have addressed an issue with photo MMS which didn't appear with the correct orientation.

Truecaller for Android is available for free and feature dual SIM support in case you have a smartphone with this feature. It's also worth mentioning the app will not upload your phonebook to make it public or searchable.
