Chinese handset manufacturer ZTE has introduced the ZTE Grand X2 In, the sequel to the Intel powered ZTE Grand X IN. The new release will feature a 2GHz Intel Atom Z2580 (Clover Trail+) processor. 1GB of RAM is on board, with 8GB of internal storage inside. The 8MP rear-facing camera is said to have one of the fastest times between shots. The rear snapper offers 24 shots per second and has no shutter lag. It also captures video in 1080p. The 4.5 inch display works with ZTE's My-Pop function to provide for easy one-handed use, and a 2000mAh battery keeps the lights on. Android 4.1 is pre-installed on the device.

As was the case with the original model, the ZTE Grand X2 In will be available in Europe with a limited distribution expected. The phone will launch in the third quarter of 2013 and pricing information was not disclosed.

According to IDC, ZTE is the fourth largest mobile handset manufacturer in the world.
